Zinc

Zinc is a metal known for its anti-corrosive properties and its importance for numerous health aspects.

The increase in its production can be attributed to its growing demand, especially in the construction sector.

Zinc is used for the production of vitamins and the manufacture of everyday products, such as adhesive bandages, blocking creams, deodorants, cosmetics, among others.

Worldwide, around 50% of zinc is used in galvanizing processes, which consist of coating a metal with zinc to protect it against corrosion.
